CURSE OF THE LAW:  OR JESUS CHRIST 

Deuteronomy 21:22-23 

And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (FOR HE THAT IS HANGED IS ACCURSED OF GOD;) that thy land be not defiled, which The LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 

Behold, I set before you this day A Blessing And A Curse; A Blessing, if ye obey The Commandments of The LORD your God, which I Command you this day: And A Curse, If Ye Will Not Obey The Commandments Of The LORD your God, but turn aside out of The Way which I Command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Exodus 20:1-17 

And God spake all these words, saying, I Am The LORD Thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. 

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in Heaven above, or that is in the Earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I The LORD Thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; And shewing Mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My Commandments. Thou shalt not take The Name Of The LORD Thy God in vain; for The LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain. 

Remember The Sabbath Day, to keep it Holy. 

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is The Sabbath Of The LORD Thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days The LORD made Heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore The LORD Blessed The Sabbath Day, And Hallowed it. 

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which The LORD Thy God giveth thee. 

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. 

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.  

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto The LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen. 

Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Deuteronomy 28:15 

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto The Voice Of The LORD Thy God, TO OBSERVE TO DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS and His Statutes which I command thee this day; THAT ALL THESE CURSES SHALL COME UPON THEE, AND OVERTAKE THEE:

And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, Which The LORD OVERTHREW IN HIS ANGER, AND IN HIS WRATH: Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath The LORD done thus unto this land? What meaneth the heat of THIS GREAT ANGER? Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:  And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. BUT YE ARE NOT IN THE FLESH, BUT IN THE SPIRIT, IF SO BE THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU. NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS. AND IF CHRIST BE IN YOU, THE BODY IS DEAD BECAUSE OF SIN; BUT THE SPIRIT IS LIFE BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. BUT IF THE SPIRIT OF HIM THAT RAISED UP JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELL IN YOU, HE THAT RAISED UP CHRIST FROM THE DEAD SHALL ALSO QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: BUT IF YE THROUGH THE SPIRIT DO MORTIFY THE DEEDS OF THE BODY, YE SHALL LIVE.  FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received The Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then Heirs; Heirs Of God, And Joint-heirs With Christ; IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER.

Your wrongdoings make you afraid and hide from your HOLY GOD; but when He calls you near to Him, you become ashamed of your deeds. Repentance comes from your being ashamed.
