I found myself thinking about my relationship with The LORD when I was thinking about how close GOD is with men. I started thinking about how He used men in The Old Testament, great men of Faith. I was thinking of the Faith of Abraham, how he left his home, his family, his home country, in obedience to GOD. Look at Noah, His Faith to build an Ark on dry land while preaching to the people about a flood that was coming, Moses going back to the same place that he was wanted for murder. The Pharoh could have put him to death, still, he returned. I read where Joshua and Caleb knew that GOD had promised the land of milk and honey to His people, though faced with giants, they said with great boldness, we are well able to take the land. With great Faith, Joshua did exactly that, He led the people of GOD to their promised land. Think of Gideon and his bravery. I could go on and on, talking about David and the Faith he had calling out a giant, a giant that was skilled at war, David did not stagger in his Faith in GOD. When David killed the giant, he was still a young boy, but filled with Faith. David writing his praise for his GOD while he was in distress, he still was filled with Faith, knowing that GOD would save him. Well, I could be here a long while thinking of the men and their great Faith. I even started to be a wee bit jealous of them, not wanting to be a man or be, Even with GOD, as Eve did when she was tempted in the garden called Eden, but longing to have a closer relationship with GOD.
We all get so carried away with doing, that we are not Being, being who we are in Christ Jesus.
Who are we? First, we are created by the same GOD that created men. We are called women because we were made from the rib of a man. A woman is called, the mother of all living, her name is Eve.
The New Testament says Jesus saved an adulteress from being stoned to death, Jesus healed women, Jesus raised a girl from the dead, Jesus cast a devil out of a woman, A woman washed the feet of Jesus with her tears and dried them with her hair. A woman was cooking a meal for Jesus to eat and a woman was sitting at His feet, listening to Him speak. A woman anointed the precious head of Jesus with oil for His burial. Women were the first to be at the grave of Jesus, the same women were the first to tell about the empty tomb.
Women do have the same Holy Spirit as men. Women have the same Bible and the same ability to read it.
Women have instructions in the Bible, Titus 2:3-5 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things, that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word Of GOD be not blasphemed. These Scriptures are full of instructions just for women. The Word tells women how to behave in the assembly of the Church. The Word Of GOD says that the long hair of a woman is a glory to her. The long hair of a woman is not her glory, it is a glory to her, right here is just one of, the out-of-context Scriptures, doing, as I first stated. Doing, can get in the way of just, Being. Being a woman is a Calling and a Blessing. Older women are to teach the younger ladies, The Word of GOD, tells us how to behave ourselves that becometh Holiness, to do this we must first, read The Word Of GOD. We also must believe The Word Of GOD, we must believe The Word Of GOD is true. and for us. Women are, to tell the Truth. Women, are not to be drunks. Women are to teach GOOD things, here are a few Scriptures that will help us to understand what, GOOD, means.
Philippians 4:8 finally brethren, whatsoever things that are TRUE, whatsoever things that are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT. if there be any VIRTUE, and any PRAISE think on these things.
Older women are to teach these things to our younger women, not only teach by our words but by our deeds.
Older women are to be sober, sober here means, to think soundly, not hysterically, calmly.
Older women are to teach younger women how to love their husbands and children, it is not a natural thing to do, if it were, The Scripture wouldn't; tell us to teach it to the younger women.
I was thinking about, what this world could be if we taught the younger women these attributes. Discreet means to be careful in speech and actions.
Chaste means do not have immoral actions, to keep ourselves pure.
Keepers at home, wow what a touchy subject huh. Some of you may think differently, but this is Scripture, you are to keep your home, yes clean, and in an orderly manner.
GOOD is the same Scriptures above.
Obedient to their own husbands, yes to your own husband, and not what the other men or women think. We, women, think of ourselves as independent women, but we are Christian women and we will never be independent of GOD or His Word. His Holy Scriptures are for our good and also our families too. When we are being this woman, then we are truly Being, a woman,
That The Word Of GOD be not blasphemed.
Mary was a Jewish girl, that had the most Miraculous event of all. Mary was a young Religious girl, that was single, in a Religion that would stone her to death for being pregnant outside of marriage. Mary asked a question when the Angel Gabriel told her that she would have a child, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man. Mary had absolutely no fear nor doubt, she knew that she was a virgin, Full of Faith she just asked how? Mary heard the Angel Gabriel say the Child she has will be The Child Of GOD, Her reply was, Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it unto me according to thy word.
As women let us have the same Faith that Mary had, Behold the handmaid of The Lord, be it unto me according to Thy WORD.
These are Callings for women, and women are Blessed beyond measure to be able to be instruments of GOD, being able to teach others. Blessed with husband, families and to have homes to keep. When we see these as our Blessing, instead of our burdens, our whole outlook becomes different.
When we embrace, Being, instead of, having to do, our lives become much brighter and lighter.
