ASK YOURSELF, AM I RIGHTEOUS?
We are saved by Grace, not by works of The Law. When we have been born again of the Spirit, we become Spirit. After we become Spirit, we are no longer flesh. After Salvation, we are new creatures, new creations. After Salvation, our hearts turn to God, but before Salvation, they were against Him. Before Salvation, we did not care what His Law said, and we did what was right in our own eyes. The Law tells us what God hates. Disobedience to The Law is what makes us sinners. It's by The Law that we even know what sin is. Faith alone in Him is why God imputes His righteousness to us. We were under The Law or a schoolmaster until Faith in Christ Jesus came.
Romans 4:22-25
And Therefore It Was Imputed To Him For Righteousness. Now It Was Not Written For His Sake Alone, That It Was Imputed To Him; But For Us Also, To Whom It Shall Be Imputed, If We Believe On Him That Raised Up Jesus Our Lord From The Dead; Who Was Delivered For Our Offences, And Was Raised Again For Our Justification.
Galatians 3:22-27
But The Scripture Hath Concluded All Under Sin, That The Promise By Faith Of Jesus Christ Might Be Given To Them That Believe. But Before Faith Came, We Were Kept Under The Law, Shut Up Unto The Faith Which Should Afterwards Be Revealed. Wherefore The Law Was Our Schoolmaster To Bring Us Unto Christ, That We Might Be Justified By Faith. But After That Faith Is Come, We Are No Longer Under A Schoolmaster. For Ye Are All The Children Of God By Faith In Christ Jesus. For As Many Of You As Have Been Baptized Into Christ Have Put On Christ.
1 John 3:4
Whosoever Committeth Sin Transgresseth Also The Law: For Sin Is The Transgression Of The Law.
Romans 6:14
For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You: For Ye Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace.
1 John 3:5-9
And Ye Know That He Was Manifested To Take Away Our Sins; And In Him Is No Sin. Whosoever Abideth In Him Sinneth Not: Whosoever Sinneth Hath Not Seen Him, Neither Known Him. Little Children, Let No Man Deceive You: He That Doeth Righteousness Is Righteous, Even As He Is Righteous. He That Committeth Sin Is Of The Devil; For The Devil Sinneth From The Beginning. For This Purpose The Son Of God Was Manifested, That He Might Destroy The Works Of The Devil. Whosoever Is Born Of God Doth Not Commit Sin; For His Seed Remaineth In Him: And He Cannot Sin, Because He Is Born Of God.
Galatians 3:2-3
This Only Would I Learn Of You, Received Ye The Spirit By The Works Of The Law, Or By The Hearing Of Faith? Are Ye So Foolish? Having Begun In The Spirit, Are Ye Now Made Perfect By The Flesh?
When you read these two Scriptures, you will find that after Salvation, we are not under The Law, and we are no longer sinners. We are now children of God because of Faith!
I think it is funny how before Salvation, no one wants to keep The Law, then after Salvation, Christians do.
