For Ye Were Sometimes Darkness, But Now Are Ye Light In The Lord: Walk As Children Of Light: (For The Fruit Of The Spirit Is In All Goodness And Righteousness And Truth;) Proving What Is Acceptable Unto The Lord. And Have No Fellowship With The Unfruitful Works Of Darkness, But Rather Reprove Them.

Romans 6:20-22 

For When Ye Were The Servants Of Sin, Ye Were Free From Righteousness. What Fruit Had Ye Then In Those Things Whereof Ye Are Now Ashamed? For The End Of Those Things Is Death. But Now Being Made Free From Sin, And Become Servants To God, Ye Have Your Fruit Unto Holiness, And The End Everlasting Life.

Galatians 2:20 

I Am Crucified With Christ: Nevertheless I Live; Yet Not I, But Christ Liveth In Me: And The Life Which I Now Live In The Flesh I Live By The Faith Of The Son Of God, Who Loved Me, And Gave Himself For Me.

I was told years ago to lighten up and be cool like the other people. My response was, I have been there and done that, I was so cool that if I died I would have split hell wide open. The longer you are a Christian the more you change. Every day The Holy Spirit is working in showing you what pleases God and what doesn't. The things that I used to do, I am now ashamed of, so why would I want to go back to doing them? The deeds that I did in the darkness grew fruit that I used to enjoy. The fruit that I desire now is fruit unto Righteousness. I do desire to know and Prove What Is Acceptable Unto The Lord. And Have No Fellowship With The Unfruitful Works Of Darkness. I have been there and done that, I do not ever want to be ashamed of my fruit again. I Am Still Growing And Being Conformed Into The Image Of Christ Jesus By The Power Of The Holy Spirit And I Will Be Until I Take My Last Breath On Earth, And So Will You. If you are still enjoying your fruit of darkness then you need to see if you are in the Faith. Just As God Saw The Darkness He Said Let There Be Light, He Is saying this to us, BE LIGHT. 

Galatians 5:19-25 

Now The Works Of The Flesh Are Manifest, Which Are These ; Adultery, Fornication, Uncleanness, Lasciviousness, Idolatry, Witchcraft, Hatred, Variance, Emulations, Wrath, Strife, Seditions, Heresies, Envyings, Murders, Drunkenness, Revellings, And Such Like: Of The Which I Tell You Before, As I Have Also Told You In Time Past, That They Which Do Such Things Shall Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God. But The Fruit Of The Spirit Is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: Against Such There Is No Law. And They That Are Christ's Have Crucified The Flesh With The Affections And Lusts. If We Live In The Spirit, Let Us Also Walk In The Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:4-7a

For Though He Was Crucified Through Weakness, Yet He Liveth By The Power Of God. For We Also Are Weak In Him, But We Shall Live With Him By The Power Of God Toward You. Examine Yourselves, Whether Ye Be In The Faith; Prove Your Own Selves. Know Ye Not Your Own Selves, How That Jesus Christ Is In You, Except Ye Be Reprobates? But I Trust That Ye Shall Know That We Are Not Reprobates. Now I Pray To God That Ye Do No Evil; 

Ephesians 5:1-5,8-9

FEELINGS

 FEELINGS 

What makes your feelings change? I know seeing my Husband every morning first thing makes me feel Blessed Above Measure. Talking to my Daughters and GrandBlessings makes me feel joyful. I know coming home from a trip makes me feel good. I feel good when I enjoy a meal and fellowship with family and friends. I guess my good feelings are associated with people and home. My bad feelings are associated with my shortcomings and temptations, such as road rage, and my impatient things that are not going my way. Feelings are a sense of our being. Things and people are big influences not only on our emotional state but also on our Spiritual. 

Places we go, and the things that we do all affect us. Once we know that we have become a Spiritual being after Salvation we need to make wiser choices about what we do. Spirits, good and bad, are everywhere moving for and against us every day. Things and places that don't seem bad really are when you look at them through Spiritual eyes. Anything that moves you emotionally is Spiritual, whether it is good or bad. Blessings and curses are real. The devil will use what is seemingly harmless to move you if you will let him. That is why it is so important to read your Bible and to have your senses exercised to discern both good and evil. 

Hebrews 5:12-14

For When For The Time Ye Ought To Be Teachers, Ye Have Need That One Teach You Again Which Be The First Principles Of The Oracles Of God; And Are Become Such As Have Need Of Milk, And Not Of Strong Meat. For Every One That Useth Milk Is Unskilful In The Word Of Righteousness: For He Is A Babe. But Strong Meat Belongeth To Them That Are Of Full Age, Even Those Who By Reason Of Use Have Their Senses Exercised To Discern Both Good And Evil.

People who have been Christians for years still don't know what is good or evil. I was told one time that Mardi Gras makes them feel a certain way that made them happy. I was told if I found fault in harry potter then I would have to find fault with Disney. Anything that has to do with sorcery is evil. Mardi Gras can be traced back to the Romans' pagan celebrations. Movies that make you feel scared because of the terrorizing of an evil person or being, are not of God. 

2 Timothy 1:7

For GOD HATH NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; But Of Power, And Of Love, And Of A Sound Mind.

Know why you feel the way that you do, is it of God or satan? 

I say all of this so that we can grow up Spiritually and be strong in The Faith. Don't give yourself over to seducing spirits. 

1 Timothy 4:1

Now The Spirit Speaketh Expressly, That In The Latter Times Some Shall Depart From The Faith, Giving Heed To Seducing Spirits, And Doctrines Of Devils;

Do you know that you are in a Spiritual warfare? 

Every morning that you get up, you get ready for your day. You eat, shower, put your clothes and make-up on, fix your hair, get your shoes, and your out the door. Re-read what the armor of God is, it not only covers your head to your toes, but it also covers your heart. The Sword Of the Spirit, Which Is The Word Of God. 

Do You Take Time To Read The Bible? 

If you don't, then you don't have your sword in battle. You may have all of the other pieces, but you won't have a weapon. Getting ready for battle should be as natural as getting ready for work. Jesus Christ should be the first thought in your mind every morning. Praying for others should be a normal part of your life. 

IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO 

LOVE JESUS MORE THAN ANYONE OR ANYTHING! HE WILL SPEW YOU OUT OF HIS MOUTH IF YOU ARE LUKEWARM.

Philippians 1:23-27 

For I Am In A Strait Betwixt Two, Having A Desire To Depart, And To Be With Christ; Which Is Far Better: Nevertheless To Abide In The Flesh Is More Needful For You.

And Having This Confidence, I KNOW THAT I SHALL ABIDE AND CONTINUE WITH YOU ALL FOR YOUR FURTHERANCE AND JOY OF FAITH; That Your Rejoicing May Be More Abundant In Jesus Christ For Me By My Coming To You Again. Only Let Your Conversation Be As It Becometh The Gospel Of Christ: That Whether I Come And See You, Or Else Be Absent, I May Hear Of Your Affairs, That Ye Stand Fast In One Spirit, With One Mind Striving Together For The Faith Of The Gospel;

I was thinking about Paul and the way he loved   the children of God. Paul sent letters and went miles to encourage them in The Faith. He gave so much of himself that he was worn completely out. He went through so much For The Furtherance Of The Gospel.

2 Corinthians 11:23-28 

Are They Ministers Of Christ? (I Speak As A Fool) I Am More; In Labours More Abundant, In Stripes Above Measure, In Prisons More Frequent, In Deaths Oft. Of The Jews Five Times Received I Forty Stripes Save One. Thrice Was I Beaten With Rods, Once Was I Stoned, Thrice I Suffered Shipwreck, A Night And A Day I Have Been In The Deep; In Journeyings Often, In Perils Of Waters, In Perils Of Robbers, In Perils By Mine Own Countrymen, In Perils By The Heathen, In Perils In The City, In Perils In The Wilderness, In Perils In The Sea, In Perils Among False Brethren; In Weariness And Painfulness, In Watchings Often, In Hunger And Thirst, In Fastings Often, In Cold And Nakedness. Philippians 1:12-14 But I Would Ye Should Understand, Brethren, That The Things Which Happened Unto Me Have Fallen Out Rather Unto The Furtherance Of The Gospel; So That My Bonds In Christ Are Manifest In All The Palace, And In All Other Places; And Many Of The Brethren In The Lord, Waxing Confident By My Bonds, Are Much More Bold To Speak The Word Without Fear.

So many of us quit because someone said something that made us mad, or hurt our feelings. I guess my point today is, make a phone call, type a text, do whatever you can to encourage others to grow and stay strong in The Faith.

MY SPEECH

MY SPEECH 

I was thinking about the speech I would make if I were to run for the office of president of The United States. I know that they would kick off the platform, so I would have to speak fast.

I would start my speech by saying that I am a Christian. 

 I would say that my Faith guides everything that I believe and the way that  I would govern. 

The second thing that I would tell them is that One God Only should be served in America and That God Is JEHOVAH. I would say that His Son Jesus Christ Is The Only Way To Jehovah God, and He alone needs to be God in  America. One Holy Book Only needs to be read by Americans, and That Book Is The Bible.

The third thing that I would say is America needs to have a DAY OF REPENTANCE. Repentance Day would be a one-time event where every American citizen collectively would get down on their knees and repent before God for the evil that we have done. America has forgotten God and has become so evil we murder people by pushing them onto the subway tracks. People are afraid to walk to the store for fear of being sucker-punched. For gang credit, we hit our older people. The more people they knock out, the more points they get. 

We steal from the people during a natural disaster. When we should be helping them, we are taking the few possessions that they have left.  

We are killing our babies.

We not only kill the babies in our wombs but babies that we have held in our arms and fed for the first time.

I would say that we need to repent for all of our atrocities because the pernicious ways of America have doomed us to the judgment of God instead of the Blessings of God.

2 Peter 2:1-6 

But There Were False Prophets Also Among The People, Even As There Shall Be False Teachers Among You, Who Privily Shall Bring In Damnable Heresies, Even Denying The Lord That Bought Them, And Bring Upon Themselves Swift Destruction. And Many Shall Follow Their Pernicious Ways; By Reason Of Whom The Way Of Truth Shall Be Evil Spoken Of. And Through Covetousness Shall They With Feigned Words Make Merchandise Of You: Whose Judgment Now Of A Long Time Lingereth Not, And Their Damnation Slumbereth Not. We need to repent for all of our blaspheme, idolatries, and of our perversions. 

Then I would say, when the day of Repentance is over, America should then get up off of her knees and Stand Strong In The Power Of The Might Of God. America needs to Pray for His Guidance in all that we do. 

Then America Should Walk As The New Creation Of God And Our Eye Set On The Prize Of The High Calling Of God. 

I Believe If Every Person on earth Knew Jesus Christ As Their Lord And Savior, Every Life On This Earth Would get Better With Each Passing Day. 

Let No One Deceive You, Making The World A Better Place Is That Simple.

We all of the wounds and bruises Jesus Christ took were ours. All of the sins on Jesus Christ were ours. The stay in Hell was ours. His peace with God was destroyed because of us. His stripes were ours. Everything that Jesus Christ went through was ours to experience. Jesus Christ did all of that so you would not have to. He did all that so you could be RETURNED UNTO THE SHEPHERD AND BISHOP OF YOUR SOULS!

If you are the same after Salvation as you were before, you might want to check if you are truly Saved. The Lord changes everything.  He is conforming us into The Image Of His Son Jesus Christ. If you think the same and act the same after Salvation you are not being conformed by The Holy Spirit. Every one of us is being changed every day.  

Romans 8:29 

For Whom He Did Foreknow, He Also Did Predestinate TO BE CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, That He Might Be The Firstborn Among Many Brethren.

THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. 

I read a post today that just fired me up. I try to be patient, but I am not. I have very little tolerance for people that are calling themselves teachers of the Gospel but in reality, teach and preach in error. 

The post said," I'm asking God not to take His Hand away from me and my family". Now to some, that may sound good, but it is not Scripturally sound. I will tell you why. I know that some think this is petty, but where they got their statement from was The Old Testament. 

(1 Samuel 6:3 

And They Said, If Ye Send Away The Ark Of The God Of Israel, Send It Not Empty; But In Any Wise Return Him A Trespass Offering: Then Ye Shall Be Healed, And IT SHALL BE KNOWN TO YOU WHY HIS HAND IS NOT REMOVED FROM YOU.)

David also Prayed, in Psalm 51:11 

(Cast Me Not Away From Thy Presence; And Take Not Thy Holy Spirit From Me.)  

These were men of God, but they were looking forward to The Coming Of Christ, We Are Christians And Have Him. We Have His Holy Spirit Within Us Forever. The Bible says in 

Ephesians 1:13

In Whom Ye Also Trusted, After That Ye Heard The Word Of Truth, The Gospel Of Your Salvation: In Whom Also AFTER THAT YE BELIEVED, YE WERE SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE. 

Ephesians 4:30 

AND GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, WHEREBY YE ARE SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.

That is the problem with trying to mix The Old Testament With The New Testament. They had The Ark Of The Covenant, We Have JESUS THE NEW COVENANT. 

Hebrews 8:13 

In That He Saith, A NEW COVENANT, He Hath Made The First Old. Now That Which Decayeth And Waxeth Old Is Ready To Vanish Away.

Re-read This Scripture. 

In That He Saith, A NEW COVENANT, He Hath Made The First Old. Now That Which Decayeth And Waxeth Old Is Ready To Vanish Away. 

That Is Why The Bible Is Divided Into Two Parts, One Is Old And The One Is New. We are of The New Testament. We are Christians, not Jewish. We are not under The Law as they are. 

Romans 6:14

For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You: FOR YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE.

We Are To Be Renewed In The Spirit Of Our Minds. 

Ephesians 4:23 And Be Renewed In The Spirit Of Your Mind;

When you are thinking that God will take His Hand away from you, then you do not have the confidence of your Salvation or Savior. 

Ephesians 3:11-12 

According To The Eternal Purpose Which He Purposed In Christ Jesus Our Lord: In Whom We Have Boldness And Access With Confidence By The Faith Of Him.

Jesus Christ was born to carry all of your sins into Hell. When you believe in Him as your atonement, then you no longer carry your sins. One Sacrifice for all sins, once and for all. His Holy Spirit moves inside of you and seals you with Righteousness. You are no longer a sinner, ever! Live in The Righteousness that Jesus Christ went into hell for you to have. 

Romans 3:22 

EVEN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE: For There Is No Difference:

1 John 3:9 

WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD DOTH NOT COMMIT SIN; FOR HIS SEED REMAINETH IN HIM: AND HE CANNOT SIN, BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF GOD.

After Salvation, you need to STOP calling yourself a sinner, that is satan telling you that. 

YOU ARE SPIRIT, A NEW CREATURE, A CHILD OF GOD, JUST LIKE JESUS IS. YOU ARE PURE EVEN AS JESUS IS PURE.

2 Timothy 2:20-26

If A Man Therefore Purge Himself From These, He Shall Be A Vessel Unto Honour, Sanctified, And Meet For The Master's Use, And Prepared Unto Every Good Work. Flee Also Youthful Lusts: But Follow Righteousness, Faith, Charity, Peace, With Them That Call On The Lord Out Of A Pure Heart. But Foolish And Unlearned Questions Avoid, Knowing That They Do Gender Strifes. It Is So Easy To Get Focused On The Things Of This Life. Politics And Religion Are Two Of The Worst. When You Are Sit Down To Read, READ YOUR BIBLE Instead Of The News. READ ABOUT JESUS CHRIST INSTEAD OF READING ABOUT SINFUL MEN. WHEN YOU SPEAK, TALK ABOUT JESUS CHRIST WHO CAN SAVE SOULS, INSTEAD OF SUBVERTING OF THE HEARERS.

Therefore Purge Yourself From These, And You Shall Be A Vessel Unto Honour, Sanctified, And Meet For The Master's Use.

New Year, New Testament Challenge.

New Year, New Testament Challenge. 

I have heard of different types of challenges, SO THIS ONE IS TO READ ~ONLY~ THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE BIBLE. 

THIS WHOLE YEAR READ ONLY THE NEW TESTAMENT!

(With a small exception. 

When you come across a reference to an Old Testament Scripture you can look that ONE Scripture up, but only when you come across it in The New Testament).

This Is A New Year, So A New Challenge, Get To Know Jesus Christ More Intimately.

It is called The New Year because the old year has vanished away. The Bible is divided into two parts because The Old Testament is in the past. Some people may wonder why I teach the same thing over and over, it is because I want you to know more about Jesus Christ and His Perfect Sacrifice. I want us all to know more about our Savior. 

I can teach about Joshua and the battle of Jericho, Gideon, and even David, all were Godly men, who were all looking forward to their Savior. Why would I teach about the men who have died and were buried, when I can teach about the God that raised them? Why would I teach how they lived when I can tell you JESUS IS ALIVE? Why would I teach about men that broke The Righteousness Of The Law, when I can tell you JESUS CHRIST IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW?  Those men broke The Law, but JESUS CHRIST KEPT THE LAW PERFECTLY, FOR YOU. 

I do love The Old Testament and the old stories, but I LOVE AND I LIVE IN THE NEW. THE NEW, IS WHO WE ARE! WE HAVE A NEW SPIRIT. WE ARE NEW CREATURES WITH NEW MINDS. WE HAVE A NEW LIFE WITH A NEW HOPE.

The men of The Old Testament wanted God to clean their hearts and create a right spirit in them, Psalm 51:10

Create In Me A Clean Heart, O God; And Renew A Right Spirit Within Me. 

In The New Testament, we have The Spirit of Christ. 

Romans 8:9 

But Ye Are Not In The Flesh, But In The Spirit, If So Be That The Spirit Of God Dwell In You. Now If Any Man Have Not The Spirit Of Christ, He Is None Of His.

The Old Testament men Asked God not to take His Spirit from them. 

Psalm 51:11 

Cast Me Not Away From Thy Presence, And Take Not Thy Holy Spirit From Me.

The New Testament says we are sealed by The Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. 

Ephesians 4:30 

And Grieve Not The Holy Spirit Of God, Whereby Ye Are Sealed Unto The Day Of Redemption.

Jesus Christ Is The New Testament And The New Covenant, The Old Is Vanished Away.

Matthew 26:28 

For This Is My Blood Of THE NEW TESTAMENT, Which Is Shed For Many For The Remission Of Sins.

2 Corinthians 3:6-7 

Who Also Hath Made Us Able Ministers Of THE NEW TESTAMENT; Not Of The Letter, But Of The Spirit: For The Letter Killeth, But THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE. Hebrews 9:15 

And For This Cause He Is The Mediator Of THE NEW TESTAMENT, That By Means Of Death, For The Redemption Of The Transgressions THAT WERE UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT, They Which Are Called Might Receive The Promise Of Eternal Inheritance.

Hebrews 8:13 

In That He Saith, A NEW COVENANT, HE HATH MADE THE FIRST OLD. NOW THAT WHICH DECAYETH AND WAXETH OLD IS READY TO VANISH AWAY.

Hebrews 12:24 

And To Jesus The Mediator Of THE NEW COVENANT, And To The Blood Of Sprinkling, That Speaketh BETTER THINGS Than That Of Abel.

1 JOHN 5:13

THESE THINGS HAVE I WRITTEN UNTO YOU THAT BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD; THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, AND THAT YE MAY BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD.
