SANCTIFY THE LORD GOD IN YOUR HEARTS

1 Peter 4:1-2

Forasmuch Then As Christ Hath Suffered For Us In The Flesh, Arm Yourselves Likewise With The Same Mind: For He That Hath Suffered In The Flesh Hath Ceased From Sin; That He No Longer Should Live The Rest Of His Time In The Flesh To The Lusts Of Men, But To The Will Of God.

1 Peter 3:12-19

For The Eyes Of The Lord Are Over The Righteous, And His Ears Are Open Unto Their Prayers: But The Face Of The Lord Is Against Them That Do Evil. And Who Is He That Will Harm You, If Ye Be Followers Of That Which Is Good? But And If Ye Suffer For Righteousness' Sake, Happy Are Ye: And Be Not Afraid Of Their Terror, Neither Be Troubled; But Sanctify The Lord God In Your Hearts: And Be Ready Always To Give An Answer To Every Man That Asketh You A Reason Of The Hope That Is In You With Meekness And Fear: Having A Good Conscience; That, Whereas They Speak Evil Of You, As Of Evildoers, They May Be Ashamed That Falsely Accuse Your Good Conversation In Christ. For It Is Better, If The Will Of God Be So, That Ye Suffer For Well Doing, Than For Evil Doing. For Christ Also Hath Once Suffered For Sins, The Just For The Unjust, That He Might Bring Us To God, Being Put To Death In The Flesh, But Quickened By The Spirit: By Which Also He Went And Preached Unto The Spirits In Prison;

For The Time Past Of Our Life May Suffice Us To Have Wrought The Will Of The Gentiles, When We Walked In Lasciviousness, Lusts, Excess Of Wine, Revellings, Banquetings, And Abominable Idolatries: Wherein They Think It Strange That Ye Run Not With Them To The Same Excess Of Riot, Speaking Evil Of You: Who Shall Give Account To Him That Is Ready To Judge The Quick And The Dead. For For This Cause Was The Gospel Preached Also To Them That Are Dead, That They Might Be Judged According To Men In The Flesh, But Live According To God In The Spirit. But The End Of All Things Is At Hand: Be Ye Therefore Sober, And Watch Unto Prayer.

2 Peter 3:1-18

This Second Epistle, Beloved, I Now Write Unto You; In Both Which I Stir Up Your Pure Minds By Way Of Remembrance: That Ye May Be Mindful Of The Words Which Were Spoken Before By The Holy Prophets, And Of The Commandment Of Us The Apostles Of The Lord And Saviour: Knowing This First, That There Shall Come In The Last Days Scoffers, Walking After Their Own Lusts, And Saying, Where Is The Promise Of His Coming? For Since The Fathers Fell Asleep, All Things Continue As They Were From The Beginning Of The Creation. For This They Willingly Are Ignorant Of, That By The Word Of God The Heavens Were Of Old, And The Earth Standing Out Of The Water And In The Water: Whereby The World That Then Was, Being Overflowed With Water, Perished: But The Heavens And The Earth, Which Are Now, By The Same Word Are Kept In Store, Reserved Unto Fire Against The Day Of Judgment And Perdition Of Ungodly Men. But, Beloved, Be Not Ignorant Of This One Thing, That One Day Is With The Lord As A Thousand Years, And A Thousand Years As One Day. The Lord Is Not Slack Concerning His Promise, As Some Men Count Slackness; But Is Longsuffering To Us-ward, Not Willing That Any Should Perish, But That All Should Come To Repentance. But The Day Of The Lord Will Come As A Thief In The Night; In The Which The Heavens Shall Pass Away With A Great Noise, And The Elements Shall Melt With Fervent Heat, The Earth Also And The Works That Are Therein Shall Be Burned Up. Seeing Then That All These Things Shall Be Dissolved, What Manner Of Persons Ought Ye To Be In All Holy Conversation And Godliness, Looking For And Hasting Unto The Coming Of The Day Of God, Wherein The Heavens Being On Fire Shall Be Dissolved, And The Elements Shall Melt With Fervent Heat? Nevertheless We, According To His Promise, Look For New Heavens And A New Earth, Wherein Dwelleth Righteousness. Wherefore, Beloved, Seeing That Ye Look For Such Things, Be Diligent That Ye May Be Found Of Him In Peace, Without Spot, And Blameless. And Account That The Longsuffering Of Our Lord Is Salvation; Even As Our Beloved Brother Paul Also According To The Wisdom Given Unto Him Hath Written Unto You; As Also In All His Epistles, Speaking In Them Of These Things; In Which Are Some Things Hard To Be Understood, Which They That Are Unlearned And Unstable Wrest, As They Do Also The Other Scriptures, Unto Their Own Destruction. Ye Therefore, Beloved, Seeing Ye Know These Things Before, Beware Lest Ye Also, Being Led Away With The Error Of The Wicked, Fall From Your Own Stedfastness. But Grow In Grace, And In The Knowledge Of Our Lord And Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him Be Glory Both Now And For Ever. Amen.

Galatians 5:18-26

THESE WORDS SPAKE JESUS, AND LIFTED UP HIS EYES TO HEAVEN, AND SAID, FATHER, THE HOUR IS COME; GLORIFY THY SON, THAT THY SON ALSO MAY GLORIFY THEE: AS THOU HAST GIVEN HIM POWER OVER ALL FLESH, THAT HE SHOULD GIVE ETERNAL LIFE TO AS MANY AS THOU HAST GIVEN HIM. AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL, THAT THEY MIGHT KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST, WHOM THOU HAST SENT. I HAVE GLORIFIED THEE ON THE EARTH: I HAVE FINISHED THE WORK WHICH THOU GAVEST ME TO DO. AND NOW, O FATHER, GLORIFY THOU ME WITH THINE OWN SELF WITH THE GLORY WHICH I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS. I PRAY FOR THEM: I PRAY NOT FOR THE WORLD, BUT FOR THEM WHICH THOU HAST GIVEN ME; FOR THEY ARE THINE. AND ALL MINE ARE THINE, AND THINE ARE MINE; AND I AM GLORIFIED IN THEM. AND NOW I AM NO MORE IN THE WORLD, BUT THESE ARE IN THE WORLD, AND I COME TO THEE. HOLY FATHER, KEEP THROUGH THINE OWN NAME THOSE WHOM THOU HAST GIVEN ME, THAT THEY MAY BE ONE, AS WE ARE. WHILE I WAS WITH THEM IN THE WORLD, I KEPT THEM IN THY NAME: THOSE THAT THOU GAVEST ME I HAVE KEPT, AND NONE OF THEM IS LOST, BUT THE SON OF PERDITION; THAT THE SCRIPTURE MIGHT BE FULFILLED. AND NOW COME I TO THEE; AND THESE THINGS I SPEAK IN THE WORLD, THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE MY JOY FULFILLED IN THEMSELVES. I HAVE GIVEN THEM THY WORD; AND THE WORLD HATH HATED THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD, EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THE WORLD. I PRAY NOT THAT THOU SHOULDEST TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WORLD, BUT THAT THOU SHOULDEST KEEP THEM FROM THE EVIL. THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD, EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THE WORLD. SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THY TRUTH: THY WORD IS TRUTH. AS THOU HAST SENT ME INTO THE WORLD, EVEN SO HAVE I ALSO SENT THEM INTO THE WORLD. AND FOR THEIR SAKES I SANCTIFY MYSELF, THAT THEY ALSO MIGHT BE SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE TRUTH. NEITHER PRAY I FOR THESE ALONE, BUT FOR THEM ALSO WHICH SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR WORD; THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE; AS THOU, FATHER, ART IN ME, AND I IN THEE, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US: THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE THAT THOU HAST SENT ME. AND THE GLORY WHICH THOU GAVEST ME I HAVE GIVEN THEM; THAT THEY MAY BE ONE, EVEN AS WE ARE ONE: I IN THEM, AND THOU IN ME, THAT THEY MAY BE MADE PERFECT IN ONE; AND THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW THAT THOU HAST SENT ME, AND HAST LOVED THEM, AS THOU HAST LOVED ME. THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS

Matthew 5:17-18

Think Not That I Am Come To Destroy The Law, Or The Prophets: I Am Not Come To Destroy, But To Fulfil. For Verily I Say Unto You, Till Heaven And Earth Pass, One Jot Or One Tittle Shall In No Wise Pass From The Law, Till All Be Fulfilled.

1 John 1:5-10,2:1&2

This Then Is The Message Which We Have Heard Of Him, And Declare Unto You, That God Is Light, And In Him Is No Darkness At All. If We Say That We Have Fellowship With Him, And Walk In Darkness, We Lie, And Do Not The Truth: But If We Walk In The Light, As He Is In The Light, We Have Fellowship One With Another, And The Blood Of Jesus Christ His Son Cleanseth Us From All Sin. If We Say That We Have No Sin, We Deceive Ourselves, And The Truth Is Not In Us. If We Confess Our Sins, He Is Faithful And Just To Forgive Us Our Sins, And To Cleanse Us From All Unrighteousness. If We Say That We Have Not Sinned, We Make Him A Liar, And His Word Is Not In Us. My Little Children, These Things Write I Unto You, That Ye Sin Not. Romans 8:1-4

There Is Therefore Now No Condemnation To Them Which Are In Christ Jesus, Who Walk Not After The Flesh, But After The Spirit.

For THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS Hath Made Me Free From The Law Of Sin And Death. For What The Law Could Not Do, In That It Was Weak Through The Flesh, God Sending His Own Son In The Likeness Of Sinful Flesh, And For Sin, Condemned Sin In The Flesh: That The Righteousness Of The Law Might Be Fulfilled In Us, Who Walk Not After The Flesh, But After The Spirit.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FLESH AND THE SPIRIT

Before Salvation, You Are In Your Flesh; After Salvation, You Become Spirit. Before Salvation, You Are A Sinner; After Salvation, You Are Righteous. Before Salvation, You Do The Works Of Your Flesh, Which Are Sinful And Bring Forth Death; After Salvation, You Bring Forth Fruit Pleasing To God. Before Salvation You Are Under The Law; After Salvation You Are Under Grace.

Good Works Are Results Of The Holy Spirit Because His Work Inside Of You Are Fruits Acceptable Unto God. Good Works And Fruit Unto God Are All Because Of The Holy Spirit; The Holy Spirit Is In You Working The Will Of The Father, Who Sent Him. Without The Holy Spirit, We Can Do No Good Work That Brings Fruit Unto God; It Is Impossible Because Of The Flesh. You Can Only Bring Forth Good Fruit After Salvation. The Flesh Can Not Please God Because Of Sin.

Christ Jesus Offered Himself For Us An Offering And A Sacrifice To God For A Sweetsmelling Savour. The Offering Of Jesus Christ Smelled Sweet To Our God; The Sweet Smell Is How We Know God Accepted Our Sacrifice. If The Sacrifice Offered Was Sweetsmelling To God, The People Were Forgiven Of Their Sins. The People's Sins May Have Been Forgiven By Their Sacrifices, But They Still Remembered Sin In Their Consciences. The Conscience Is Where We Let Sin Overtake Us; Be Renewed In The Spirit Your Minds Because That The Worshippers, Once Purged Should Have Had No More Conscience Of Sins. Once We Are Born-again Of The Spirit, We Are New And Have No More Conscience Of Sins Because We Are Spirit.

In the old days, people would use the word Earnest as an oath for a purposeful or sincere intent. Some would ask, are you earnest about this, which means are you sincere? If you buy something of great expense, you must put down earnest money, showing that you are serious about the purchase. When you put down earnest money, it is guaranteed that somebody will hold the product for you until you take it into your possession forever. The Holy Spirit Is The Earnest That Jesus Christ Gave, Sealing Us Until The Lord Takes Us Into His Personal Possession In Heaven.

When You Are Under The Law, You Are Guilty Before God, But Jesus Christ, By One Offering, Hath Perfected For Ever Them That Are Sanctified. Whereof The Holy Ghost Also Is A Witness To Us.

Jesus Christ was offered for our offences, which are our sins, but He was Raised Again For Our Justification.

Romans 4:25

Who Was Delivered For Our Offences, And Was Raised Again For Our Justification.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US BEING GUILTY OR JUSTIFIED AND PERFECT.

PURE, RIGHTEOUS, OR A SINNER

1 John 3:1-3,5-7

BEHOLD, WHAT MANNER OF LOVE THE FATHER HATH BESTOWED UPON US, THAT WE SHOULD BE CALLED THE SONS OF GOD: THEREFORE THE WORLD KNOWETH US NOT, BECAUSE IT KNEW HIM NOT. BELOVED, NOW ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD, AND IT DOTH NOT YET APPEAR WHAT WE SHALL BE: BUT WE KNOW THAT, WHEN HE SHALL APPEAR, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS. AND EVERY MAN THAT HATH THIS HOPE IN HIM PURIFIES HIMSELF, EVEN AS HE IS PURE.

AND YE KNOW THAT HE WAS MANIFESTED TO TAKE AWAY OUR SINS; AND IN HIM IS NO SIN. WHOSOEVER ABIDETH IN HIM SINNETH NOT: WHOSOEVER SINNETH HATH NOT SEEN HIM, NEITHER KNOWN HIM. LITTLE CHILDREN, LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU: HE THAT DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, EVEN AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS.

I left out verse 4 because I wanted you to see the meaning of two of these Holy Words, PURE AND RIGHTEOUS. People can get bogged down by The Scriptures on The Law, so I will add verse 4 below.

He purifies himself, even as He Is PURE. HOW DOES A CHRISTIAN PURIFY HIMSELF EVEN AS CHRIST IS PURE? The Love The Father Hath Bestowed Upon Us that We Should Be Called The Sons Of God is one part, and the other is, It doth Not Yet Appear What We Shall Be: But We Know That, When HE Shall Appear, We Shall Be Like HIM; for we shall see HIM as HE is. EVERY MAN THAT HATH THIS HOPE IN HIM PURIFIES HIMSELF, EVEN AS HE IS PURE.

How do we become Righteous, Even As He Is Righteous?

Are you Saved? When we become Saved, The Holy Spirit lives inside of us. The Holy Spirit takes up residence inside, which means He Abides in us, and we abide in Christ Jesus. If you are Saved, then you abide in Christ, and He Is In You. Our Hope in Christ Jesus taking away our sins is how we know we are Children Of God. Jesus Christ, The Son Of God, Holy, Righteous, Pure, and Perfect, was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. Whosoever abides in him sins not. So I ask, are you Saved?

1 John 4:13

HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE DWELL IN HIM, AND HE IN US, BECAUSE HE HATH GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT.

ROMANS 8:9

BUT YE ARE NOT IN THE FLESH, BUT IN THE SPIRIT, IF SO BE THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU. NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS.

Now, Are you Saved? Are you Pure? Are you Righteous?

Now I Have To Ask, does The Bible Teach you that you are

WHOSOEVER COMMITTETH SIN TRANSGRESSETH ALSO THE LAW: FOR SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.

ROMANS 6:14-18

JESUS CHRIST AND HIS PERFECT LOVE

1 John 4:7-21

Beloved, Let Us Love One Another: For Love Is Of God; And Every One That Loveth Is Born Of God, And Knoweth God. He That Loveth Not Knoweth Not God; For God Is Love. In This Was Manifested The Love Of God Toward Us, Because That God Sent His Only Begotten Son Into The World, That We Might Live Through Him. Herein Is Love, Not That We Loved God, But That He Loved Us, And Sent His Son To Be The Propitiation For Our Sins. Beloved, If God So Loved Us, We Ought Also To Love One Another. The world has so many things they call love, but if you do not have The Holy Spirit Of God, then you don't know pure love. People fall in love because of looks, money, education, and status, but those are the world's types of love. Looks fade, money dwindles, education gets outdated, and situations change daily. I was not Saved when I was married, but I thought my opinion of love was the only way. I saw divorces of nearly everyone around me, and those that stayed married were few and far between. We believed that if you displeased me, I would change you like a stinking garment for something new. Marriage had nothing to do with God or His Word, just the world's version of love. I know a little about hoods, mean street schools with rioting, but I do not know enough of them and their homelives to say why they wanted to be mean to others; I just know that none of us knew God. Hatred and meanness are rampant today, just like when I was growing up, if not worse. We Christians need to be sharing God And His Word today more than ever. We must know that love turns away wrath, so many people need to know JESUS CHRIST AND HIS PERFECT LOVE.
