THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM
Isaiah 53:1-12
Who Hath Believed Our Report? And To Whom Is The Arm Of The Lord Revealed? For He Shall Grow Up Before Him As A Tender Plant, And As A Root Out Of A Dry Ground: He Hath No Form Nor Comeliness; And When We Shall See Him, There Is No Beauty That We Should Desire Him. He Is Despised And Rejected Of Men; A Man Of Sorrows, And Acquainted With Grief: And We Hid As It Were Our Faces From Him; He Was Despised, And We Esteemed Him Not. Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs, And Carried Our Sorrows: Yet We Did Esteem Him Stricken, Smitten Of God, And Afflicted. But He Was Wounded For Our Transgressions, He Was Bruised For Our Iniquities: The Chastisement Of Our Peace Was Upon Him; And With His Stripes We Are Healed. All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray; We Have Turned Every One To His Own Way; And The Lord Hath Laid On Him The Iniquity Of Us All. He Was Oppressed, And He Was Afflicted, Yet He Opened Not His Mouth: He Is Brought As A Lamb To The Slaughter, And As A Sheep Before Her Shearers Is Dumb, So He Openeth Not His Mouth. He Was Taken From Prison And From Judgment: And Who Shall Declare His Generation? For He Was Cut Off Out Of The Land Of The Living: For The Transgression Of My People Was He Stricken. And He Made His Grave With The Wicked, And With The Rich In His Death; Because He Had Done No Violence, Neither Was Any Deceit In His Mouth. Yet It Pleased The Lord To Bruise Him; He Hath Put Him To Grief: When Thou Shalt Make His Soul An Offering For Sin, He Shall See His Seed, He Shall Prolong His Days, And The Pleasure Of The Lord Shall Prosper In His Hand. He Shall See Of The Travail Of His Soul, And Shall Be Satisfied: By His Knowledge Shall My Righteous Servant Justify Many; For He Shall Bear Their Iniquities. Therefore Will I Divide Him A Portion With The Great, And He Shall Divide The Spoil With The Strong; Because He Hath Poured Out His Soul Unto Death: And He Was Numbered With The Transgressors; And He Bare The Sin Of Many, And Made Intercession For The Transgressors.
Isaiah 50:6
I Gave My Back To The Smiters, And My Cheeks To Them That Plucked Off The Hair: I Hid Not My Face From Shame And Spitting.
Matthew 26:67-68
Then Did They Spit In His Face, And Buffeted Him; And Others Smote Him With The Palms Of Their Hands, Saying, Prophesy Unto Us, Thou Christ, Who Is He That Smote Thee?
Matthew 27:27-31
Then The Soldiers Of The Governor Took Jesus Into The Common Hall, And Gathered Unto Him The Whole Band Of Soldiers. And They Stripped Him, And Put On Him A Scarlet Robe. And When They Had Platted A Crown Of Thorns, They Put It Upon His Head, And A Reed In His Right Hand: And They Bowed The Knee Before Him, And Mocked Him, Saying, Hail, King Of The Jews! And They Spit Upon Him, And Took The Reed, And Smote Him On The Head. And After That They Had Mocked Him, They Took The Robe Off From Him, And Put His Own Raiment On Him, And Led Him Away To Crucify Him.
Galatians 2:20-21
I Am Crucified With Christ: Nevertheless I Live; Yet Not I, But Christ Liveth In Me: And The Life Which I Now Live In The Flesh I Live By The Faith Of The Son Of God, Who Loved Me, And Gave Himself For Me. I Do Not Frustrate The Grace Of God: For If Righteousness Come By The Law, Then Christ Is Dead In Vain.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 ,6:1-18,7:1
Therefore If Any Man Be In Christ, He Is A New Creature: Old Things Are Passed Away; Behold, All Things Are Become New. And All Things Are Of God, Who Hath Reconciled Us To Himself By Jesus Christ, And Hath Given To Us The Ministry Of Reconciliation; To Wit, That God Was In Christ, Reconciling The World Unto Himself, Not Imputing Their Trespasses Unto Them; And Hath Committed Unto Us The Word Of Reconciliation. Now Then We Are Ambassadors For Christ, As Though God Did Beseech You By Us: We Pray You In Christ's Stead, BE YE RECONCILED TO GOD. FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, Who Knew No Sin; THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.
When We Then, As Workers Together With Him, Beseech You Also That Ye Receive Not The Grace Of God In Vain. (For He Saith, I Have Heard Thee In A Time Accepted, And In The Day Of Salvation Have I Succoured Thee: Behold, Now Is The Accepted Time; Behold, Now Is The Day Of Salvation.) Giving No Offence In Any Thing, That The Ministry Be Not Blamed: But In All Things Approving Ourselves As The Ministers Of God, In Much Patience, In Afflictions, In Necessities, In Distresses, In Stripes, In Imprisonments, In Tumults, In Labours, In Watchings, In Fastings; By Pureness, By Knowledge, By Longsuffering, By Kindness, By The Holy Ghost, By Love Unfeigned, By The Word Of Truth, By The Power Of God, By The Armour Of Righteousness On The Right Hand And On The Left, By Honour And Dishonour, By Evil Report And Good Report: As Deceivers, And Yet True; As Unknown, And Yet Well Known; As Dying, And, Behold, We Live; As Chastened, And Not Killed; As Sorrowful, Yet Alway Rejoicing; As Poor, Yet Making Many Rich; As Having Nothing, And Yet Possessing All Things.
O Ye Corinthians, Our Mouth Is Open Unto You, Our Heart Is Enlarged. Ye Are Not Straitened In Us, But Ye Are Straitened In Your Own Bowels. Now For A Recompence In The Same, (I Speak As Unto My Children,) Be Ye Also Enlarged. Be Ye Not Unequally Yoked Together With Unbelievers: For What Fellowship Hath Righteousness With Unrighteousness? And What Communion Hath Light With Darkness? And What Concord Hath Christ With Belial? Or What Part Hath He That Believeth With An Infidel? And What Agreement Hath The Temple Of God With Idols? For Ye Are The Temple Of The Living God; As God Hath Said, I Will Dwell In Them, And Walk In Them; And I Will Be Their God, And They Shall Be My People. Wherefore Come Out From Among Them, And Be Ye Separate, Saith The Lord, And Touch Not The Unclean Thing; And I Will Receive You, And Will Be A Father Unto You, And Ye Shall Be My Sons And Daughters, Saith The Lord Almighty.
Having Therefore These Promises, Dearly Beloved, Let Us Cleanse Ourselves From All Filthiness Of The Flesh And Spirit, Perfecting Holiness In The Fear Of God.
Colossians 3:10
And Have Put On The New Man, Which Is Renewed In Knowledge After The Image Of Him That Created Him:
Ephesians 4:23-24
And Be Renewed In The Spirit Of Your Mind; And That Ye Put On The New Man, Which After God Is Created In Righteousness And True Holiness.
FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, WHO KNEW NO SIN; THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.
