JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD
Luke 15:10-24
Likewise, I Say Unto You, There Is JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD Over One Sinner That Repenteth. And He Said,
A Certain Man Had Two Sons: And The Younger Of Them Said To His Father, Father, Give Me The Portion Of Goods That Falleth To Me. And He Divided Unto Them His Living. And Not Many Days After The Younger Son Gathered All Together, And Took His Journey Into A Far Country, And There Wasted His Substance With Riotous Living. And When He Had Spent All, There Arose A Mighty Famine In That Land; And He Began To Be In Want. And He Went And Joined Himself To A Citizen Of That Country; And He Sent Him Into His Fields To Feed Swine. And He Would Fain Have Filled His Belly With The Husks That The Swine Did Eat: And No Man Gave Unto Him. And When He Came To Himself, He Said, How Many Hired Servants Of My Father's Have Bread Enough And To Spare, And I Perish With Hunger! I Will Arise And Go To My Father, And Will Say Unto Him, Father, I Have Sinned Against Heaven, And Before Thee, And Am No More Worthy To Be Called Thy Son: Make Me As One Of Thy Hired Servants. And He Arose, And Came To His Father. But When He Was Yet A Great Way Off, His Father Saw Him, And Had Compassion, And Ran, And Fell On His Neck, And Kissed Him. And The Son Said Unto Him, Father, I Have Sinned Against Heaven, And In Thy Sight, And Am No More Worthy To Be Called Thy Son. But The Father Said To His Servants, Bring Forth The Best Robe, And Put It On Him; And Put A Ring On His Hand, And Shoes On His Feet: And Bring Hither The Fatted Calf, And Kill It; And Let Us Eat, And Be Merry: For This My Son Was Dead, And Is Alive Again; He Was Lost, And Is Found. And They Began To Be Merry.
This Is Exactly Who We Are AfterTrue Repentance.
Romans 6:1-18
What Shall We Say Then? Shall We Continue In Sin, That Grace May Abound? God Forbid. How Shall We, That Are Dead To Sin, Live Any Longer Therein? Know Ye Not, That So Many Of Us As Were Baptized Into Jesus Christ Were Baptized Into His Death? Therefore We Are Buried With Him By Baptism Into Death: That Like As Christ Was Raised Up From The Dead By The Glory Of The Father, Even So We Also Should Walk In Newness Of Life. For If We Have Been Planted Together In The Likeness Of His Death, We Shall Be Also In The Likeness Of His Resurrection: Knowing This, That Our Old Man Is Crucified With Him, That The Body Of Sin Might Be Destroyed, That Henceforth We Should Not Serve Sin. For He That Is Dead Is Freed From Sin. Now If We Be Dead With Christ, We Believe That We Shall Also Live With Him: Knowing That Christ Being Raised From The Dead Dieth No More; Death Hath No More Dominion Over Him. For In That He Died, He Died Unto Sin Once: But In That He Liveth, He Liveth Unto God. Likewise Reckon Ye Also Yourselves To Be Dead Indeed Unto Sin, But Alive Unto God Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Let Not Sin Therefore Reign In Your Mortal Body, That Ye Should Obey It In The Lusts Thereof. Neither Yield Ye Your Members As Instruments Of Unrighteousness Unto Sin: But Yield Yourselves Unto God, As Those That Are Alive From The Dead, And Your Members As Instruments Of Righteousness Unto God. For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You: For Ye Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace. What Then? Shall We Sin, Because We Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace? God Forbid. Know Ye Not, That To Whom Ye Yield Yourselves Servants To Obey, His Servants Ye Are To Whom Ye Obey; Whether Of Sin Unto Death, Or Of Obedience Unto Righteousness? But God Be Thanked, That Ye Were The Servants Of Sin, But Ye Have Obeyed From The Heart That Form Of Doctrine Which Was Delivered You. Being Then Made Free From Sin, Ye Became The Servants Of Righteousness.
