THY FIRST LOVE

Revelation 2:1-7 

Unto The Angel Of The Church Of Ephesus Write; These Things Saith He That Holdeth The Seven Stars In His Right Hand, Who Walketh In The Midst Of The Seven Golden Candlesticks; I Know Thy Works, And Thy Labour, And Thy Patience, And How Thou Canst Not Bear Them Which Are Evil: And Thou Hast Tried Them Which Say They Are Apostles, And Are Not, And Hast Found Them Liars: And Hast Borne, And Hast Patience, And For My Name's Sake Hast Laboured, And Hast Not Fainted. Nevertheless I Have Somewhat Against Thee, Because Thou Hast Left THY FIRST LOVE. Remember Therefore From Whence Thou Art Fallen, And Repent, And Do The First Works; Or Else I Will Come Unto Thee Quickly, And Will Remove Thy Candlestick Out Of His Place, Except Thou Repent. But This Thou Hast, That Thou Hatest The Deeds Of The Nicolaitans, Which I Also Hate. He That Hath An Ear, Let Him Hear What The Spirit Saith Unto The Churches; To Him That Overcometh Will I Give To Eat Of The Tree Of Life, Which Is In The Midst Of The Paradise Of God.

Can you work and stand for The Lord Jesus Christ and leave Him simultaneously? Yes, you can, you can do all of the right things; you can even learn The Word Of God And get so caught up in good things and forget to keep The Person Jesus Christ in the forefront of your reasoning. Fall in love every day with Jesus Christ, take up your cross daily, and follow Him.

Always remember that 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS BORN TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS BEATEN, SPIT UPON AND MOCKED. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS STRIPPED NAKED IN FRONT OF UNITS OF SOLDIERS. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO HAD A CROWN OF THORNS SHOVED DOWN, TEARING HIS HEAD AND HIS HAIR OUT.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS NAILED IN HIS HANDS AND FEET SUSPENDED ON A CROSS.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO TOOK ON HIS RIGHTEOUS BODY ALL OF OUR SINS.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS CURSED AND SEPARATED FROM GOD.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS MADE TO BE SIN SO THAT WE CAN BE RIGHTEOUS. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WENT INTO HELL, PAYING FOR ALL OF OUR SINS.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD AND ASCENDED UP IN HEAVEN, SEATED ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE WHO WILL RETURN IN GLORY AND RECEIVE US TO HIMSELF. 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY REASON WE CAN BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD AND WILL BE FOREVER WITH THE LORD. 

REMEMBER TO LOVE JESUS CHRIST!

Luke 9:23 

And He Said To Them All, If Any Man Will Come After Me, Let Him Deny Himself, And Take Up His Cross Daily, And Follow Me.

Matthew 27:27-31 

Then The Soldiers Of The Governor Took Jesus Into The Common Hall, And Gathered Unto Him The Whole Band Of Soldiers. And They Stripped Him, And Put On Him A Scarlet Robe. Galatians 3:13

Ephesians 2:5-8 

Even When We Were Dead In Sins, Hath Quickened Us Together With Christ, (By Grace Ye Are Saved;) And Hath Raised Us Up Together, And Made Us Sit Together In Heavenly Places In Christ Jesus: That In The Ages To Come He Might Shew The Exceeding Riches Of His Grace In His Kindness Toward Us Through Christ Jesus. Acts 2:27,31-32 

Because Thou Wilt Not Leave My Soul In Hell, Neither Wilt Thou Suffer Thine Holy One To See Corruption.

Matthew 26:64

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 

But I Would Not Have You To Be Ignorant, Brethren, Concerning Them Which Are Asleep, That Ye Sorrow Not, Even As Others Which Have No Hope. For If We Believe That Jesus Died And Rose Again, Even So Them Also Which Sleep In Jesus Will God Bring With Him. For This We Say Unto You By The Word Of The Lord, That We Which Are Alive And Remain Unto The Coming Of The Lord Shall Not Prevent Them Which Are Asleep. For The Lord Himself Shall Descend From Heaven With A Shout, With The Voice Of The Archangel, And With The Trump Of God: And The Dead In Christ Shall Rise First: Then We Which Are Alive And Remain Shall Be Caught Up Together With Them In The Clouds, To Meet The Lord In The Air: And So Shall We Ever Be With The Lord. Wherefore Comfort One Another With These Words.
