GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD 

Psalm 31:1-4 

In Thee, O Lord, Do I Put My Trust; Let Me Never Be Ashamed: Deliver Me In Thy Righteousness. Bow Down Thine Ear To Me; Deliver Me Speedily: Be Thou My Strong Rock, For An House Of Defence To Save Me. For Thou Art My Rock And My Fortress; Therefore For Thy Name's Sake Lead Me, And Guide Me. Pull Me Out Of The Net That They Have Laid Privily For Me: For Thou Art My Strength.

Acts 8:1-4 

And Saul Was Consenting Unto His Death. And At That Time There Was A Great Persecution Against The Church Which Was At Jerusalem; And They Were All Scattered Abroad Throughout The Regions Of Judaea And Samaria, Except The Apostles. And Devout Men Carried Stephen To His Burial, And Made Great Lamentation Over Him. As For Saul, He Made Havock Of The Church, Entering Into Every House, And Haling Men And Women Committed Them To Prison. Therefore They That Were Scattered Abroad Went Every Where Preaching The Word.

Acts 9:20-22 

And Straightway He Preached Christ In The Synagogues, That He Is The Son Of God. But All That Heard Him Were Amazed, And Said; Is Not This He That Destroyed Them Which Called On This Name In Jerusalem, And Came Hither For That Intent, That He Might Bring Them Bound Unto The Chief Priests? But Saul Increased The More In Strength, And Confounded The Jews Which Dwelt At Damascus, Proving That This Is Very Christ.

Galatians 1:11-16 

But I Certify You, Brethren, That The Gospel Which Was Preached Of Me Is Not After Man. For I Neither Received It Of Man, Neither Was I Taught It, But By The Revelation Of Jesus Christ. For Ye Have Heard Of My Conversation In Time Past In The Jews' Religion, How That Beyond Measure I Persecuted The Church Of God, And Wasted It: And Profited In The Jews' Religion Above Many My Equals In Mine Own Nation, Being More Exceedingly Zealous Of The Traditions Of My Fathers. But When It Pleased God, Who Separated Me From My Mother's Womb, And Called Me By His Grace, To Reveal His Son In Me, That I Might Preach Him Among The Heathen; Immediately I Conferred Not With Flesh And Blood:

Galatians 1:21-24 

Afterwards I Came Into The Regions Of Syria And Cilicia; And Was Unknown By Face Unto The Churches Of Judaea Which Were In Christ: But They Had Heard Only, That He Which Persecuted Us In Times Past Now Preacheth The Faith Which Once He Destroyed. And They Glorified God In Me.

Acts 16:16-34 

And It Came To Pass, As We Went To Prayer, A Certain Damsel Possessed With A Spirit Of Divination Met Us, Which Brought Her Masters Much Gain By Soothsaying: The Same Followed Paul And Us, And Cried, Saying, These Men Are The Servants Of The Most High God, Which Shew Unto Us The Way Of Salvation. And This Did She Many Days. But Paul, Being Grieved, Turned And Said To The Spirit, I Command Thee In The Name Of Jesus Christ To Come Out Of Her. And He Came Out The Same Hour. And When Her Masters Saw That The Hope Of Their Gains Was Gone, They Caught Paul And Silas, And Drew Them Into The Marketplace Unto The Rulers, And Brought Them To The Magistrates, Saying, These Men, Being Jews, Do Exceedingly Trouble Our City, And Teach Customs, Which Are Not Lawful For Us To Receive, Neither To Observe, Being Romans. And The Multitude Rose Up Together Against Them: And The Magistrates Rent Off Their Clothes, And Commanded To Beat Them. And When They Had Laid Many Stripes Upon Them, They Cast Them Into Prison, Charging The Jailor To Keep Them Safely: Who, Having Received Such A Charge, Thrust Them Into The Inner Prison, And Made Their Feet Fast In The Stocks. And At Midnight Paul And Silas Prayed, And Sang Praises Unto God: And The Prisoners Heard Them. And Suddenly There Was A Great Earthquake, So That The Foundations Of The Prison Were Shaken: And Immediately All The Doors Were Opened, And Every One's Bands Were Loosed. And The Keeper Of The Prison Awaking Out Of His Sleep, And Seeing The Prison Doors Open, He Drew Out His Sword, And Would Have Killed Himself, Supposing That The Prisoners Had Been Fled. But Paul Cried With A Loud Voice, Saying, Do Thyself No Harm: For We Are All Here. Then He Called For A Light, And Sprang In, And Came Trembling, And Fell Down Before Paul And Silas, And Brought Them Out, And Said, Sirs, What Must I Do To Be Saved? And They Said, Believe On The Lord Jesus Christ, And Thou Shalt Be Saved, And Thy House. And They Spake Unto Him The Word Of The Lord, And To All That Were In His House. And He Took Them The Same Hour Of The Night, And Washed Their Stripes; And Was Baptized, He And All His, Straightway. And When He Had Brought Them Into His House, He Set Meat Before Them, And Rejoiced, Believing In God With All His House.

1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 

Paul, And Silvanus, And Timotheus, Unto The Church Of The Thessalonians Which Is In God The Father And In The Lord Jesus Christ: Grace Be Unto You, And Peace, From God Our Father, And The Lord Jesus Christ. We Give Thanks To God Always For You All, Making Mention Of You In Our Prayers; Remembering Without Ceasing Your Work Of Faith, And Labour Of Love, And Patience Of Hope In Our Lord Jesus Christ, In The Sight Of God And Our Father; Knowing, Brethren Beloved, Your Election Of God. And Ye Became Followers Of Us, And Of The Lord, Having Received The Word In Much Affliction, With Joy Of The Holy Ghost: So That Ye Were Ensamples To All That Believe In Macedonia And Achaia. For From You Sounded Out The Word Of The Lord Not Only In Macedonia And Achaia, But Also In Every Place Your Faith To God-ward Is Spread Abroad; So That We Need Not To Speak Any Thing. For They Themselves Shew Of Us What Manner Of Entering In We Had Unto You, And How Ye Turned To God From Idols To Serve The Living And True God; And To Wait For His Son From Heaven, Whom He Raised From The Dead, Even Jesus, Which Delivered Us From The Wrath To Come.

Acts 2:36

Philippians 1:6-14 

Being Confident Of This Very Thing, That He Which Hath Begun A Good Work In You Will Perform It Until The Day Of Jesus Christ: Even As It Is Meet For Me To Think This Of You All, Because I Have You In My Heart; Inasmuch As Both In My Bonds, And In The Defence And Confirmation Of The Gospel, Ye All Are Partakers Of My Grace. For God Is My Record, How Greatly I Long After You All In The Bowels Of Jesus Christ. And This I Pray, That Your Love May Abound Yet More And More In Knowledge And In All Judgment; That Ye May Approve Things That Are Excellent; That Ye May Be Sincere And Without Offence Till The Day Of Christ; Being Filled With The Fruits Of Righteousness, Which Are By Jesus Christ, Unto The Glory And Praise Of God. But I Would Ye Should Understand, Brethren, That The Things Which Happened Unto Me Have Fallen Out Rather Unto The Furtherance Of The Gospel; So That My Bonds In Christ Are Manifest In All The Palace, And In All Other Places; And Many Of The Brethren In The Lord, Waxing Confident By My Bonds, Are Much More Bold To Speak The Word Without Fear.

God Pulls Us Out Of The Net That They Have Laid Privily.

They That Were Scattered Abroad Went Everywhere Preaching The Word.

Paul Said, I Persecuted The Church Of God And Wasted It: Then He Preached Christ In The Synagogues.

Paul And Silas Were Thrust Into The Inner Prison, With Their Feet Fast In The Stocks, And At Midnight, Paul And Silas Prayed, And Sang Praises Unto God: 

Sirs, What Must I Do To Be Saved? And They Said, Believe On The Lord Jesus Christ, And Thou Shalt Be Saved, And Thy House. And They Spake Unto Him The Word Of The Lord, And To All That Were In His House. 

Paul Said They May Have Received The Word In Much Affliction, With Joy Of The Holy Ghost, Yet They Were Ensamples To All That Believe In Macedonia And Achaia. For From You Sounded Out The Word Of The Lord Not Only In Macedonia And Achaia But Also In Every Place Your Faith To God-ward Is Spread Abroad;

The Outcome Is Salvation. Look What Happens When Persecution Comes To The Church. 

Sometimes, The Very Thing That Looks Dire Is For The Furtherance Of The Gospel.
