ADD TO YOUR FAITH

ADD TO YOUR FAITH

2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, A Servant And An Apostle Of Jesus Christ, To Them That Have Obtained Like Precious Faith With Us Through The Righteousness Of God And Our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 Peter 1:2
Grace And Peace Be Multiplied Unto You Through The Knowledge Of God, And Of Jesus Our Lord,

2 Peter 1:3-9
According As His Divine Power Hath Given Unto Us All Things That Pertain Unto Life And Godliness, Through The Knowledge Of Him That Hath Called Us To Glory And Virtue: Whereby Are Given Unto Us Exceeding Great And Precious Promises: That By These Ye Might Be Partakers Of The Divine Nature, Having Escaped The Corruption That Is In The World Through Lust. And Beside This, Giving All Diligence, Add To Your Faith Virtue; And To Virtue Knowledge; And To Knowledge Temperance; And To Temperance Patience; And To Patience Godliness; And To Godliness Brotherly Kindness; And To Brotherly Kindness Charity. For If These Things Be In You, And Abound, They Make You That Ye Shall Neither Be Barren Nor Unfruitful In The Knowledge Of Our Lord Jesus Christ. But He That Lacketh These Things Is Blind, And Cannot See Afar Off, And Hath Forgotten That He Was Purged From His Old Sins.

His Divine Power Hath Given Unto Us All Things That Pertain Unto Life And Godliness, Through The Righteousness Of God And Our Saviour Jesus Christ, Through The Knowledge Of God, And Of Jesus Our Lord, Through The Knowledge Of Him That Hath Called Us To Glory And Virtue: That By These Ye Might Be Partakers Of The Divine Nature.

We Add All Of These Through The Righteousness Of God And Our Saviour Jesus Christ: Through The Knowledge Of God, And Of Jesus Our Lord, Through The Knowledge Of Him That Hath Called Us To Glory And Virtue: That By These Ye Might Be Partakers Of The Divine Nature.

Faith: strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual
apprehension rather than visual proof.

Romans 1:16-17
For I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ: For It Is The Power Of God Unto Salvation To Every One That Believeth; To The Jew First, And Also To The Greek. For Therein Is The Righteousness Of God Revealed From Faith To Faith: As It Is Written, The Just Shall Live By Faith.

Hebrews 11:6
But Without Faith It Is Impossible To Please Him: For He That Cometh To God Must Believe That He Is, And That He Is A Rewarder Of Them That Diligently Seek Him.

Virtue: the quality or practice of moral excellence or righteousness. Conformity of one's life and conduct to moral and ethical principles; uprightness.

Luke 8:46
And Jesus Said, Somebody Hath Touched Me: For I Perceive That Virtue Is Gone Out Of Me.

Knowledge: facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subjec.

2 Peter 3:18
But Grow In Grace, And In The Knowledge Of Our Lord And Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him Be Glory Both Now And For Ever. Amen.

Temperance: moderation or self-restraint; self-control.
Habitual moderation in any indulgence, appetite, etc. total abstinence from alcoholic liquors.

Galatians 5:22-25
But The Fruit Of The Spirit Is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: Against Such There Is No Law. And They That Are Christ's Have Crucified The Flesh With The Affections And Lusts. If We Live In The Spirit, Let Us Also Walk In The Spirit.

Ephesians 5:18
And Be Not Drunk With Wine, Wherein Is Excess; But Be Filled With The Spirit;

Patience: tolerant and even-tempered perseverance, the capacity for calmly enduring pain, trying situations.

Revelation 14:12
Here Is The Patience Of The Saints: Here Are They That Keep The Commandments Of God, And The Faith Of Jesus.

Godliness: the quality or practice of conforming to The Law and wishes of God.

Romans 6:13-16
Neither Yield Ye Your Members As Instruments Of Unrighteousness Unto Sin: But Yield Yourselves Unto God, As Those That Are Alive From The Dead, And Your Members As Instruments Of Righteousness Unto God. For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You: For Ye Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace. What Then? Shall We Sin, Because We Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace? God Forbid. Know Ye Not, That To Whom Ye Yield Yourselves Servants To Obey, His Servants Ye Are To Whom Ye Obey; Whether Of Sin Unto Death, Or Of Obedience Unto Righteousness?

1 Timothy 3:16
And Without Controversy Great Is The Mystery Of Godliness: God Was Manifest In The Flesh, Justified In The Spirit, Seen Of Angels, Preached Unto The Gentiles, Believed On In The World, Received Up Into Glory.

Brotherly Kindness: the love of brothers

Mark 12:30-31
And Thou Shalt Love The Lord Thy God With All Thy Heart, And With All Thy Soul, And With All Thy Mind, And With All Thy Strength: This Is The First Commandment. And The Second Is Like, Namely This, Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbour As Thyself. There Is None Other Commandment Greater Than These.

Charity: sense, love, benevolence, good will; that disposition of heart which inclines men to think favorably of their fellow men.

1 Corinthians 13:3-8
And Though I Bestow All My Goods To Feed The Poor, And Though I Give My Body To Be Burned, And Have Not Charity, It Profiteth Me Nothing. Charity Suffereth Long, And Is Kind; Charity Envieth Not; Charity Vaunteth Not Itself, Is Not Puffed Up, Doth Not Behave Itself Unseemly, Seeketh Not Her Own, Is Not Easily Provoked, Thinketh No Evil; Rejoiceth Not In Iniquity, But Rejoiceth In The Truth; Beareth All Things, Believeth All Things, Hopeth All Things, Endureth All Things. Charity Never Faileth: But Whether There Be Prophecies, They Shall Fail; Whether There Be Tongues, They Shall Cease; Whether There Be Knowledge, It Shall Vanish Away.

Ephesians 1:17-23
That The God Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father Of Glory, May Give Unto You The Spirit Of Wisdom And Revelation In The Knowledge Of Him: The Eyes Of Your Understanding Being Enlightened; That Ye May Know What Is The Hope Of His Calling, And What The Riches Of The Glory Of His Inheritance In The Saints, And What Is The Exceeding Greatness Of His Power To Us-ward Who Believe, According To The Working Of His Mighty Power, Which He Wrought In Christ, When He Raised Him From The Dead, And Set Him At His Own Right Hand In The Heavenly Places, Far Above All Principality, And Power, And Might, And Dominion, And Every Name That Is Named, Not Only In This World, But Also In That Which Is To Come: And Hath Put All Things Under His Feet, And Gave Him To Be The Head Over All Things To The Church, Which Is His Body, The Fulness Of Him That Filleth All In All.
