Galatians 5:1-26
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole Law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by The Law; ye are fallen from Grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the Hope of Righteousness by Faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; But Faith which worketh by love. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of Him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear His judgment, whosoever he be. And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the offence of the cross ceased. I would they were even cut off which trouble you. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all The Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under The Law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit The Kingdom Of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Galatians 3:8-14
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through Faith, preached before The Gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be Blessed. So then they which be of Faith are Blessed with Faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of The Law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in The Book Of The Law to do them. But that no man is justified by The Law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by Faith. And The Law is not of Faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of The Law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the Blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive The Promise Of The Spirit Through Faith.
Romans 8:9-17
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is Life because of Righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons Of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are The Children Of God: And if Children, then Heirs; Heirs Of God, and Joint-Heirs With Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also Glorified together.
Romans 6:1-23
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that Grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were Baptized into Jesus Christ were Baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by Baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory Of The Father, even so we also should walk in newness of Life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His Resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also Live with Him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He Liveth, He Liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but Alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are Alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of Righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under The Law, but under Grace. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under The Law, but under Grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto Righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of Doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of Righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: For as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to Righteousness unto Holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from Righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your Fruit unto Holiness, and the end Everlasting Life. For the wages of sin is death; But The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Our body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit Is Life.
IF WE LIVE IN THE SPIRIT, LET US ALSO WALK IN THE SPIRIT.
