SERVANTS OF THE LAW, SIN,

OR SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

ARE WE SERVANTS OF THE LAW, SIN,

OR SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS GRACE THROUGH FAITH?

GOD SAID THROUGH EZEKIEL 

Ezekiel 11:19 

And I Will Give Them One Heart, And I Will Put A New Spirit Within You; And I Will Take The Stony Heart Out Of Their Flesh, And Will Give Them An Heart Of Flesh:

Ezekiel 36:26 

A New Heart Also Will I Give You, And A New Spirit Will I Put Within You: And I Will Take Away The Stony Heart Out Of Your Flesh, And I Will Give You An Heart Of Flesh.

JESUS CHRIST SAID 

John 3:3-7 

Jesus Answered And Said Unto Him, Verily, Verily, I Say Unto Thee, Except A Man Be Born Again, He Cannot See The Kingdom Of God. Nicodemus Saith Unto Him, How Can A Man Be Born When He Is Old? Can He Enter The Second Time Into His Mother's Womb, And Be Born?Jesus Answered, Verily, Verily, I Say Unto Thee, Except A Man Be Born Of Water And Of The Spirit, He Cannot Enter Into The Kingdom Of God. Forasmuch As Ye Are Manifestly Declared To Be The Epistle Of Christ Ministered By Us, Written Not With Ink, But With The Spirit Of The Living God; Not In Tables Of Stone, But In Fleshy Tables Of The Heart.

Romans 6:14 

For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You: For Ye Are Not Under The Law, But Under Grace.

Galatians 3:3 

Are Ye So Foolish? Having Begun In The Spirit, Are Ye Now Made Perfect By The Flesh?

Romans 8:9 

But Ye Are Not In The Flesh, But In The Spirit, If So Be That The Spirit Of God Dwell In You. Now If Any Man Have Not The Spirit Of Christ, He Is None Of His.

Romans 6:17 

But God Be Thanked, That Ye Were The Servants Of Sin, But Ye Have Obeyed From The Heart That Form Of Doctrine Which Was Delivered You.

2 Corinthians 3:6-8 

Who Also Hath Made Us Able Ministers Of The New Testament; Not Of The Letter, But Of The Spirit: For The Letter Killeth, But The Spirit Giveth Life. But If The Ministration Of Death, Written And Engraven In Stones, Was Glorious, So That The Children Of Israel Could Not Stedfastly Behold The Face Of Moses For The Glory Of His Countenance; Which Glory Was To Be Done Away: How Shall Not The Ministration Of The Spirit Be Rather Glorious?

Romans 3:20-21 

Therefore By The Deeds Of The Law There Shall No Flesh Be Justified In His Sight: For By The Law Is The Knowledge Of Sin. But Now The Righteousness Of God Without The Law Is Manifested, Being Witnessed By The Law And The Prophets;

Galatians 4:1-7 

Now I Say, That The Heir, As Long As He Is A Child, Differeth Nothing From A Servant, Though He Be Lord Of All; But Is Under Tutors And Governors Until The Time Appointed Of The Father. Even So We, When We Were Children, Were In Bondage Under The Elements Of The World: But When The Fulness Of The Time Was Come, God Sent Forth His Son, Made Of A Woman, Made Under The Law, To Redeem Them That Were Under The Law, That We Might Receive The Adoption Of Sons. And Because Ye Are Sons, GOD HATH SENT FORTH THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO YOUR HEARTS, Crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore Thou Art No More A Servant, But A Son; And If A Son, Then An Heir Of God Through Christ.

WHEN WE WERE UNDER THE LAW WE WERE SERVANTS TO KEEP THE WHOLE LAW OR BE CURSED. JUST LIKE A SERVANT IS PUNISHED WHEN HE DISOBEYED HIS MASTER, WHEN WE BREAK THE LAW WE WILL RECEIVE PUNISHMENT FROM GOD. 

GOD CALLS THE PUNISHMENT FOR BREAKING HIS LAW, BEING UNDER THE CURSE.

For As Many As Are Of The Works Of The Law Are Under The Curse: For It Is Written, Cursed Is Every One That Continueth Not In All Things Which Are Written In The Book Of The Law To Do Them.

JESUS CHRIST BECAME SIN SO THAT HE COULD TAKE THE PUNISHMENT, THE CURSE ON HIMSELF TO PAY THE PENALTY WHICH IS HELL.

[30] Therefore Being A Prophet, And Knowing That God Had Sworn With An Oath To Him, That Of The Fruit Of His Loins, According To The Flesh, He Would Raise Up Christ To Sit On His Throne; He Seeing This Before Spake Of The Resurrection Of Christ, That His Soul Was Not Left In Hell, Neither His Flesh Did See Corruption. This Jesus Hath God Raised Up, Whereof We All Are Witnesses. 

Galatians 3:10-13

1 John 3:2-10 

Beloved, Now Are We The Sons Of God, And It Doth Not Yet Appear What We Shall Be: But We Know That, When He Shall Appear, We Shall Be Like Him; For We Shall See Him As He Is. And Every Man That Hath This Hope In Him Purifieth Himself, Even As He Is Pure. Whosoever Committeth Sin Transgresseth Also The Law: For Sin Is The Transgression Of The Law. And Ye Know That He Was Manifested To Take Away Our Sins; And In Him Is No Sin. Whosoever Abideth In Him Sinneth Not: Whosoever Sinneth Hath Not Seen Him, Neither Known Him.
