IN CHRIST ALONE!

Hebrews 5:12-14 - 6:1-6,11-12,17-19

For When For The Time Ye Ought To Be Teachers, Ye Have Need That One Teach You Again Which Be The First Principles Of The Oracles Of God; And Are Become Such As Have Need Of Milk, And Not Of Strong Meat. For Every One That Useth Milk Is Unskilful 

IN THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: 

For He Is A Babe. But Strong Meat Belongeth To Them That Are Of Full Age, Even Those Who By Reason Of Use Have Their Senses Exercised To Discern Both Good And Evil. Therefore Leaving The Principles Of The Doctrine Of Christ, LET US GO ON UNTO PERFECTION; NOT LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS, And Of Faith Toward God, Of The Doctrine Of Baptisms, And Of Laying On Of Hands, And Of Resurrection Of The Dead, And Of Eternal Judgment. And This Will We Do, If God Permit. For It Is Impossible For Those Who Were Once Enlightened, And Have Tasted Of The Heavenly Gift, And Were Made Partakers Of The Holy Ghost, And Have Tasted The Good Word Of God, And The Powers Of The World To Come, If They Shall Fall Away, To Renew Them Again Unto Repentance; Seeing They Crucify To Themselves The Son Of God Afresh, And Put Him To An Open Shame. 

[11] And We Desire That Every One Of You Do Shew The Same Diligence To The Full Assurance Of Hope Unto The End: That Ye Be Not Slothful, But Followers Of Them Who Through Faith And Patience Inherit The Promises. 

[17] Wherein God, Willing More Abundantly To Shew Unto The Heirs Of Promise The Immutability Of His Counsel, Confirmed It By An Oath: That By Two Immutable Things, In Which It Was Impossible For God To Lie, We Might Have A Strong Consolation, WHO HAVE FLED FOR REFUGE TO LAY HOLD UPON THE HOPE SET BEFORE US: WHICH HOPE WE HAVE AS AN ANCHOR OF THE SOUL, BOTH SURE AND STEDFAST, AND WHICH ENTERETH INTO THAT WITHIN THE VEIL;

THE REASON PEOPLE HAVE TO BE FED MILK AGAIN AND ARE UNSKILLFUL IN THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS BECAUSE THEY STILL ARE STILL LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS!

THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS,

ROMANS 3:22-28 

EVEN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE: FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE: FOR ALL HAVE SINNED, AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD; BEING JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTION THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS: WHOM GOD HATH SET FORTH TO BE A PROPITIATION THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, TO DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST, THROUGH THE FORBEARANCE OF GOD; TO DECLARE, I SAY, AT THIS TIME HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: THAT HE MIGHT BE JUST, AND THE JUSTIFIER OF HIM WHICH BELIEVETH IN JESUS. WHERE IS BOASTING THEN? IT IS EXCLUDED. BY WHAT LAW? OF WORKS? NAY: BUT BY THE LAW OF FAITH. THEREFORE WE CONCLUDE THAT A MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW.

THE LAW KEEPS YOU REPENTING FROM YOUR WORKS THAT ARE DEAD.

Hebrews 9:14-15 

How Much More Shall The Blood Of Christ, Who Through The Eternal Spirit Offered Himself Without Spot To God, Purge Your Conscience From Dead Works To Serve The Living God? And For This Cause He Is The Mediator Of The New Testament, That By Means Of Death, For The Redemption Of The Transgressions That Were Under The First Testament, They Which Are Called Might Receive The Promise Of Eternal Inheritance. 

Galatians 3:23-25

But Before Faith Came, We Were Kept Under The Law, Shut Up Unto The Faith Which Should Afterwards Be Revealed. Wherefore The Law Was Our Schoolmaster To Bring Us Unto Christ, That We Might Be Justified By Faith. But After That Faith Is Come, We Are No Longer Under A Schoolmaster.

THE FIRST THING, PAUL MENTIONED ABOVE IN HEBREWS 6, WAS  FOR US TO STOP LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS.

HAVE YOU FLED TO HIM, IS HE YOUR REFUGE? 

IS YOUR HOPE IN HIM? 

IS HE THE HOPE YOU HAVE AS THE ANCHOR FOR YOUR SOUL?

IS YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE?

HAVE YOU GONE ON UNTO PERFECTION?
