REPENTANCE OF THE PAST

REPENTANCE OF THE PAST

Luke 5:31-32

And Jesus Answering Said Unto Them, They That Are Whole Need Not A Physician; But They That Are Sick. I Came Not To Call The Righteous, BUT SINNERS TO REPENTANCE.

JESUS CAME TO CALL SINNERS UNTO REPENTANCE. If you notice in the definition of repentance below, THE PAST is where your sins should be. We should have remorse for our past actions, and our past sins not continue to do them. After Salvation, we should be changed from the heart and our past actions of sin should cease and we should begin new actions of Righteousness. There is an evil spirit moving that is telling people that God loves and accepts you as you are, if you think that God loves me as I am, you better read your Bible. Yes, at Salvation God receives us as sinners, but when we repent from our hearts, He forgives us and cleanses us from our past sins, but we do not continue to do the things that are against Him. Our past actions are what made us sinners. Because of our Repentance At Salvation, we become Children Of The Holy God and He requires us to be Holy. The Way That We Are Holy Is Through The Holy Spirit Living Inside Of Us Leading Us And Guiding Us Into All Truth. The Holy Spirit makes us into the image of Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ would not do those things should we?

Romans 3:24-25

Being Justified Freely By His Grace Through The Redemption That Is In Christ Jesus: Whom God Hath Set Forth To Be A Propitiation Through Faith In His Blood, To Declare His Righteousness FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST, Through The Forbearance Of God;

Romans 6:16-18

Know Ye Not, That To Whom Ye Yield Yourselves Servants To Obey, His Servants Ye Are To Whom Ye Obey; Whether Of Sin Unto Death, Or Of Obedience Unto Righteousness? BUT GOD BE THANKED, THAT YE WERE THE SERVANTS OF SIN, But Ye Have Obeyed From The Heart That Form Of Doctrine Which Was Delivered You. Being Then Made Free From Sin, Ye Became The Servants Of Righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:17

THEREFORE IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW.

Philippians 1:11

BEING FILLED WITH THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH ARE BY JESUS CHRIST, UNTO THE GLORY AND PRAISE OF GOD.

REPENTANCE: Remorse or contrition for past conduct, deep sorrow, contrition for a past sin, wrongdoing, or error,
